His specialized area is water resources engineering. The major area in the undergraduate was civil engineering, 1989. A Master of Science in water resources engineering and PhD are in water resources engineering and lecturer for many substances (under and postgraduates) related to Hydrology, Hydraulics, Fluid Mechanics, Drainage and Irrigation Systems, and many more. The fields of interest are in the hydraulic/hydrology simulation research, artificial neural network in hydrology and sedimentation, and many more. Lecturer at University of Kufa- Faculty of Engineering. He is working in the Hydraulic Structures and Water Resources Engineering Department since 1989.
